Reverend George Corbett's Chalice
Description
This chalice was stolen from the St. Joseph Region Archives of the Religious Hospitallers of St. Joseph in Amherstview, Ontario in September 2012.
It is gold with enamel decorations, ca 30-40cm tall with ca. 10-15 cm diameter.
The base is inscribed: “To the Very Reverend George Corbett, V.G.. A souvenir of his Silver Jubilee. From the parishioners of St. Columban’s Church, Cornwall. Sept. 7th, 1898.”
It is accompanied by a paten inscribed "IHS"
Stored in a black case with a brass inscription: "Rev. Geo. Corbett"
